Playing in the Winter Festival is the same as other games on Module's site, just with a holiday twist! There are special event games listed above that you can play. All of these games reward tickets. There are six kinds of tickets: green tickets, orange tickets, yellow tickets, pink tickets, blue tickets, and red tickets. For the duration of the event, some games and services off-site may also reward tickets.

First, set up a section on your trade post or a place on Dreamwidth to catalogue your event winnings (your “tree”). This is where you will keep your earned tickets and the prizes you’ve bought and received. Keep a record of your transactions in the present shop on this post, as well as whether each prize was purchased by you or gifted to you by another player. When the event ends, you'll receive cards and other bonuses based on the presents you've given and received.

Note that you cannot gift or trade tickets to other players. Instead, you can (and are encouraged to) trade the presents that you can purchase with tickets to others.

But what do you do with your tickets after you earn them? You can redeem them for presents on the Present Shop. Like the Synth Shop, you'll list out the tickets you're exchanging and the items you're purchasing. However, you don't exchange the tickets for cards directly; instead, you'll receive bonuses for the items you've purchased at the end of the event.

Your tickets from Winter Festival games can be exchanged for three different kinds of prizes: food, toys, and fancy sweets. Each item requires a different amount of tickets. By purchasing a present, you can put them under your tree, and you'll receive bonuses based on the items you purchase. While you can receive rewards for purchasing items for yourself, they can also be purchased for and gifted to other players. You can play the event solo if you'd like, but you are encouraged to gift them to others, as you'll both receive more rewards from a gift!
