Module Basics
Module is centered on Vocaloid, UTAU, Talkloid, and other vocal synthesizers. All cards, decks, games, and other content in the game are related to Vocaloid and vocal synthesizer characters, and all user-submitted content must also adhere to the TCG's theme. Vocaloids of all types are accepted - voicebanks from all over the world, content from spin-off games, original PVs using Vocaloid voicebanks as the vocalist, and any associated projects therein.Content Guidelines
We use commercially-released and official art for all decks and content. Examples of such works include the following:- Content released by companies such as Crypton Future Media, Internet Co. Ltd, Good Smile Company, Sega, or other private entity
- Art produced for or commissioned by the above companies for promotional purposes or merchandise
- Screenshots, music, videos, and other content found in a commercially-released game
- Original videos and music uploaded by a producer on their official account
Additionally, Module focuses on Vocaloid characters and content only, which means that module/character decks for original characters are not allowed.
PV decks for songs and videos with original characters are allowed, as long as the song in question was originally released with a Vocaloid voicebank as the singer. In other words, while Module's guidelines do not allow for a Hoshino Ichika (Project Sekai) or Tateyama Ayano (Kagerou Project) deck, we would allow PV decks for the Sekai-original song NeedLe (written with Hatsune Miku as a vocalist) or the Kagerou Project song Ayano no Koufuku Riron (written with IA as a vocalist).
TCG Systems
Module is a semi-manual website TCG. As a member, you will have an account and username stored on our website, which allows you to play automated games, use services, claim cards from updates, use the shop, and more! You will also have a log that is stored on our website and can be accessed on your account page, which will display all actions you take on the site. Displaying your cards and trading will still take place on your own card posts, but your achievements, mastered decks, wishlisted decks, and other major milestones will appear on your site profile. Only users who are confirmed by the admins can access the full functionality of the TCG.In addition, Module also has a manual component with some services and special games played on our Dreamwidth community. These games are run by staff members and are more interactive than others on the website, and are meant to be a collaborative effort between you and other players! Events are also run through our Dreamwidth community, and some special services are hosted only on the community. Rewards can be sent to you through your account's rewards panel or through replies on Dreamwidth posts. All Module Dreamwidth communities allow anonymous posting if you cannot or do not wish to make a Dreamwidth account.
Module also has a Dreamwidth trading community where you can connect with other players, coordinate trades, or share player resources.
Updates and Releases
Module operates on the Eastern USA timezone and updates weekly on Sundays. Weekly updates are smaller updates and contain TCG status updates such as game resets, new members, deck masteries, level ups, and any wishes requested and granted from that week. Deck releases occur biweekly with biweekly game resets, where donated decks will be released into the game's randomizers and prize pools! Additionally, there is also a monthly update on the first of each month that will generally contain special notices or information about upcoming events.Deck releases or update freebies can be claimed for up to one month after the specific update. New players can take cards from any release as long as the post is still open for claiming. There will be a comment from the admins that will officially close the release for claiming. Until then, the post is open for claiming whenever you would like!
Member Status
Members at Module TCG are initially added as a Pending member on the list before being officially confirmed by an admin and moved to the Active list. You will obtain your starter pack of 2 cards from a deck of your choice and 5 random cards upon joining. Shortly after you join, an admin will confirm you as a member and you will be moved to the active members list. You will also receive your starter pack bonus of an additional 5 random cards, 20 shards, and your custom member card.Once you are confirmed, you can take cards from updates, play games, use services, and trade with other players!
Members must update at least once every two months to be considered an active member of Module. If you do not update or log in for two months, you will be moved to the Inactive list by an admin, and you will not be able to play games, use services, or trade. You can reactive your account by logging in to the site and updating your card post and logs! If you know that you will be slower than usual or need to take a break for a bit, you can set yourself on hiatus from your account page. You will still be able to access all of the TCG's games and features, but it is assumed that you won't be as active as normal or will be slower responding to trades or updates.
