Mylists and Medleys

In addition to regular masteries earned by collecting all 20 cards of the same deck, Module has two extra forms of player-selected challenges: Mylists and Medleys.

Mylist

Mylists, named after the favoriting system on Nico Nico Douga, are a personal list of mastery challenges of decks you choose! In addition to the regular rewards for mastering a deck, by choosing decks to collect and master as a group, you’ll earn an even bigger prize.

Mylists contain five decks that you plan to master together. You can apply for a Mylist on the Dreamwidth community. When you apply for a Mylist, you must choose both the five decks you wish to master and an image to use on the Mylist template. The element icons on each deck are hidden initially. As you master each deck and submit them as rewards on the Mylist page, the elements reappear!

Mylists must have a theme tying the decks included together. The chosen theme is up to you, and can be as loose or as strict as you wish. The theme you choose will be written on the Mylist image. Examples of themes for a Mylist include:

• Favorites: Your personal favorite songs, modules, or characters
• Best Of: Five songs composed by a single producer
• Voicebank: Five songs originally composed using the same Vocaloid, Talkloid, or Voiceroid as vocalists
• Elemental Harmony: Five decks of the same element
• Elemental Discord: One deck of each element

These themes are not necessarily rigid - they just serve as checklists or guides for you to form your own collection (it is a mylist after all!). You can only have two Mylists active at the same time, unless using a coupon to unlock an additional slot, in which case you can have up to three active at once. Additionally, when applying for a Mylist, you can only use one deck that you have previously mastered, and only two decks total that you have 10 or more cards collected at the time you apply (including any mastered decks). You may use any single deck in up to two different Mylists.

For mastering all five decks in your Mylist, in addition to the mastery rewards for mastering each deck individually, you will earn an extra 2 choice cards, 10 random cards, and 2 random elemental crystals.

Medleys

Medleys are a smaller challenge, akin to mini-masteries. Instead of collecting 20 cards from a single deck, medleys require you to collect 5 cards each from 4 decks. Medley masteries have specific requirements and special qualities:

1. The decks must be of the same element; they can, however, be any kind of deck (module, PV, puzzle, or collaboration)
2. All four decks must be different; you cannot repeat decks in the same Medley
3. Cards from each deck must be in numbered order; Medleys are four shortened and successive songs! In other words, for Medley masteries, the cards you need for the mastery are:
   
   • Deck 1: Cards 01 - 05
   • Deck 2: Cards 06 - 10
   • Deck 3: Cards 11 - 15
   • Deck 4: Cards 16 - 20
4. You can use decks that you have mastered before for Medley masteries - both regular masteries and past Medley masteries!

You do not have to specifically sign up for a Medley mastery, or mark it as a challenge beforehand. You only need to mark it as complete and submit it for rewards on the Medley Masteries page. Once you submit a Medley mastery, as with regular masteries, the cards you chose can no longer be traded to other players.

For completing a Medley, you will receive 1 choice card, plus 4 random cards and 3 elemental crystals of the same element of your submitted Medley. You are also able to apply for a special mastery badge to display on your trade post and site profile, which is a combined badge of the four decks you chose for your Medley and a name you choose that describes your Medley. The combined mastery badge can use either a card of your choosing from the deck or the mastery badges themselves.
