onto the future!

Hi everyone! I'll get right to the point - Module TCG will be going on hiatus for now. But I first want to stress that this is not goodbye forever, and it's not due to any one thing! I've struggled a lot over whether to write this post or make this decision, but with my life getting busier than it was when we opened, I think it just makes sense to press pause for now. I hope you understand!

I still love this game, the deck design, and the major aspects of the gameplay that we planned out, so please don't think this is goodbye! I'd love to unpause the hiatus if there's enough interest and revitalize things. If you're interested in that, or if you'd like to help out in the future, let me know!

I don't like to keep things sad and dreary forever, so I wanted to give everyone a little something! Though this might be a bit silly, I wanted to make a commemorative card as a thank you to everyone. So, please take the event card below!

hiatus details

While there will be no other major updates for the time being, here's a few notes on what that means.

• Dreamwidth games that I run will be paused, but site games will still update each week like normal. You can play them indefinitely! Any games or services run by other mods are up to their individual discretion.
• Similarly, on-site services will still work like usual; you can master decks, rank up, get your Aura bonus cards, and so on.
• For Dreamwidth services that I run, I'll still be tracking those posts, so if you have Aura sheets or medleys you want to complete, or custom graphics you'd like to request, you can do so and I'll still respond.
• There are a few unfinished deck donations, which I will finish up this week and include in this post when they are finished - so that if anyone wants to collect those decks or earn them in games, they'll be available. I also want to make sure that everyone sees the decks that they worked hard on collecting images for, that's important to me! I will keep deck donations open with the 6 donation slot limit, and will similarly make and upload those decks by the start of May (they'll again be added to this post).
• Custom graphics like milestones will be made and uploaded to your profile within the next few weeks. Please do bug me if you don't see them finished! (Again, it's important to me that everyone sees the graphics they requested.)

Thank you so much for being on this journey with me so far. I hope that you've had fun while playing here! It's been a busy and hefty undertaking, but I have absolutely loved seeing everyone playing games, getting excited when they saw their decks in the upcoming channel, gifting each other sweets during the Winterfes event... it made all of the hours struggling with code and templates and everything else worthwhile. I love getting to play with all of you.

And again, this isn't goodbye! I'm hoping to unpause this hiatus at some point because Vocaloid has been important to me for so long, and I loved seeing everyone share that same love here. If this TCG brought a smile to your face at any point, I'd be even happier. Vocaloid is all about joy, creative collaboration, and connection, after all.
